Kepler Track

Our second "Great Walk" of the trip was along the Kepler Track, which started out with a water taxi ride across Lake Te Anau to shave off some miles. The hike started on the beach, took us though a forest of ferns and mosses, and ended at Mount Luxmore.

Kea birds (endangered alpine parrots) graced us with their presence and were rather vocal about having to share the summit with us.
